'Unconditional Surrender' Trump has Surrendered.
Well, this is something I never thought I would be writing: that the United States of America objectively lost a war to an inferior military and economic power in a mere thirty-nine days. How's that for making America great again?
Now, if you will recall, Trump initially said that his ill-conceived and executed war against Iran would only end with an unconditional surrender from the Iranian leadership.
Just about a month later, and after threatening to end Iranian civilization with apocalyptic fury, something that is a war crime just for a world leader to express as policy, Trump has not only given up on that demand, but has agreed to Iran's terms for his surrender:
And just to prove that the above was not a mistake but official policy, please see this statement by Iran that was reposted by Trump:
There you have it. From unconditional surrender for Iran to unconditional surrender for Trump.
And just what are those ten points that Trump agreed to? Here is an accurate summation:
That, dear readers, is a surrender to Iran's terms, confirmed in Trump's own words and by his social media posts. Somehow, America went from demands for regime change, an end to its nuclear program, an end to its drone and ballistic missile production, and an end to supporting such terrorist organizations as Hezbollah, to an agreement that will discard all those demands and instead cement Iran's status as a regional power. In other words, after over a dozen US servicemen dead, hundreds wounded, and a fortune lost in military equipment and bases, as well as grave damage to the GCC states and especially its oil-producing infrastructure, Trump has now agreed to a status quo ante agreement with the added humiliation of the new benefit of Iranian control of the Hormuz Strait.
So much winning!

Now, to be fair, this is not a formal agreement - there isn't even a formalized document that concretely outlines a meeting of minds - so much of this nebulosity needs to be cleared up at the possible meeting between the US and Iranian delegates in Pakistan on Saturday. However, when the president of the United States communicates his imprimatur for a framework of an agreement, that is normally (formerly?) seen as something trustworthy.
However, as expected, Trump's word is already proving worthless as he and his cabinet of crooks are attempting a rug-pull by denying that the president professed any of the above. This is typical Trump: a man with a long history of violating contractual obligations (3,500 breach-of-contract lawsuits over the past three decades, according to the Journal Sentinel). Having done what he needed to do to extricate himself from this fantastic mess that he created with his co-conspirator and war criminal, Benji Netanyahu, Trump is now attempting to change the terms of the deal to suit himself.
Worse, the Butcher of Gaza, Netanyahu, realizing that Trump, by agreeing to Iran's terms, has effectively sold Israel to its enemies, has also now brazenly broken the terms of the ceasefire by resuming combat operations against Iran's proxies, Hezbollah, in Lebanon. Israel's refusal to stop attacking Hezbollah is yet another sign of just how weak Trump is as a man on the global stage. In past conflicts involving Israel, an American president just had to pick up the phone and speak to Tel Aviv for Israeli military operations to come to an immediate halt. Now, as we've seen since the start of this war, Trump is powerless in his relationship with Israel, first allowing it to use America as its billy club against Iran, and now to thumb its nose at Trump's ceasefire. Trump has made the United States into Netanyahu's lapdog.
As a result, Iran continues to insist that ships that want to transit the Strait of Hormuz must obey its navigational directives and pay a toll in crypto or risk running into a naval minefield or other...hazards.
😢😢😢😢😢
Incredibly, Trump's latest ruse, and by latest I mean as of one hour ago, is to now feign ignorance about Iran's toll structure for Hormuz shipping, something it must be pointed out didn't exist before the war but now seems certain to become a new normal for the region. As the New Zork Times reports:
“There are reports that Iran is charging fees to tankers going through the Hormuz Strait,” Trump said. “They better not be and, if they are, they better stop now!”
As the Times reporter correctly points out:
Trump has previously addressed Iran imposing tolls on ships passing through the Hormuz Strait, and has himself mused that he would like the United States to impose its own tolls on shipping traffic in the waterway.
What a loathsome liar. Again, read the above: part of the ten-point deal was formalizing Iranian control of the Strait. Trump agreed to it.

Be that as it may, tomorrow will be a test of will for both Iran and America. Incredibly, Iran is now the dominant power as it has proven it can take a month of body blows from the American military, and not just have the regime survive, but also continue launching drones and ballistic missiles at American, Israeli, and GCC targets, in addition to closing the world's petro lifeline, something Trump has been powerless to re-open, despite threats to the contrary and his desperate threats to bully NATO into opening it for him. Sorry, Donny, it took a little over a year, but even former appeasers like Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain have now found the courage to dismiss Trump as a serious partner. America, without a clear rationale for the war, without a battle plan that extended beyond the initial strikes, and without notifying our allies, now stands alone in negotiations against a regime that has proven itself a far more competent and resilient power than itself under Trump. Seeing how the American diplomatic team is composed of the Three Horsemen of the Idiot Apocalypse, Vice Toady, JP Mandel...er, JD Vance (who, it must be recalled, once referred to Trump as "America's Hitler"), influence peddler Jared Kushner, and Trump's golf caddie, Steve Witkoff, I do not have high hopes. I fear that tomorrow's vital diplomatic meeting will either end with a resumption of hostilities or with the Iranian flag flying above the White House.
Good luck, America. This is what half the country voted for, after all (and, yes, you did, you reality TV-addicted morons).
